The Accademia Gallery is one of Venice's most important art galleries and can be found in the Dorsoduro area of Venice. Attractions at the Accademia Gallery include many truly spectacular masterpieces from the 14th century to the 18th century, painted by world-famous artists, such as Bellini, Giorgione, Rosalba Carriera, Longhi, Tintoretto, Titian, Tiziano and Veronese to name but a few.
Venice's Accademia Gallery is a particularly prestigious and overwhelming art gallery and is always popular with tourists visiting Venice. The Accademia Gallery is home to Venice's single most important art collection, with a number of simply magnificent and well-displayed paintings and sculptures. Guided tours around the Accademia Gallery, in Venice, are available in English and Italian, together with audio guides. Combined tickets can also be purchased and these include entrance to the Museo Orientale and Galleria Franchetti.
